We are a registered charity advocating for the protection and conservation of built heritage, historic places, and archaeological sites and landscapes throughout Taranaki.

We coordinate a range of activities including Taranaki Heritage Month (October-November); archaeology week events in Taranaki and surrounding regions (May); public and member events such as historical walks and field trips; and supporting public and private organisations and individuals to conserve Taranaki heritage sites and features. We have also developed the Taranaki Wars phone app, and frequently contribute to heritage policy development at local/regional and central government levels.
