Description
Cork Oak Tree (Quercus suber).
A fantastic evergreen oak that grows extremely well in NZ – is native to Mediterranean Spain and Algeria.
It is the primary source of natural cork, and the first harvest can be undertaken after about 25 years.
Current height approx 0.6m above PB8 planter bag.
These plants are grown locally in Ngāmotu New Plymouth and have been donated to Heritage Taranaki to help support our mission of conserving our region’s unique heritage.
All proceeds from the sale of this product, minus any transaction fees, goes towards supporting our heritage advocacy work.
