Description

Aotearoa New Zealand native nīkau palm (Rhopalostylis sapida).

An attractive native palm, up to 15m, pinkish flowers with red fruit containing seeds.

These palms thrive across much of Taranaki and add a touch of tropical to any garden.

Current height approx 0.3m above PB2 planter bag.

These plants are grown locally in Ngāmotu New Plymouth and have been donated to Heritage Taranaki to help support our mission of conserving our region’s unique heritage.
